Nigerian man jailed for Smuggling Drug

A Nigerian-German man, Ukachukwu Charles Imoh has been sentence to four years imprisonment for attempted drug smuggling. The 57 year man was caught with more than £215,000 worth of cocaine in 83 packages. After being X-rayed at hospital.

The man who traveled from Germany to Uk by ferry was arrested upon arrival as police but they were suspicious of him. He however claim to be visiting his family but later pleaded guilty after X-ray confirmed 83 wraps of cocaine which had 66% purity level were in his body.

He was charged to court where he was sentenced to 4year imprisonment and will be deported upon completion of his jail term, under the UK Borders Act 2007.

One Boko Haram Financier Gets 10-year Jail Term; Three Others Set Free

One of the financiers of Boko Haram sentenced to ten years imprisonment with hard labour by a Federal High Court in Lagos.

Though details of the trial are still sketchy as the proceedings were conducted in secret, the Boko Haram financier was one of four suspects arraigned before Justice Saliu Saidu by the Department of State Services (DSS).

Indian Man Burn Genital Of A Man Who Raped His Daughter

 

A man in India was arrested last week for torturing the man who raped his daughter.

The man, a 36-year-old who lives in Dehli, reportedly confessed to using iron tongs to burn the man’s genitals, then eventually strangling him to death. According to the Indian Express, the man told police that he invited his daughter’s rapist—a 45-year-old married man who lived in the same building—over for dinner on Friday night:

Synagogue: Lagos Begins Probe October 13

The Lagos State Government has said the coroner it inaugurated to probe the circumstances surrounding the collapse of a six-storey building belonging to the Synagogue Church of All of Nations will commence sitting on October 13, 2014.
